This unique hook storm grip consists of two strands of high-quality 5 mm diameter elastic cord, which is attached to a glass-fibre-filled nylon hook using a stainless steel Torx pin. The double elastic cords ensure that, under high wind loads, the forces are distributed evenly across the storm grip. The load-bearing capacity is therefore 1½ times greater than that of the standard 8 mm storm grip (00006).
